The Department of Chemistry at Sookmyung offers research and training opportunities in many fields of chemistry which lead to a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry degree. After building a foundation during the initial stages of course work, teaching, and exploration of research opportunities in the laboratory, faculty supervisors guide students on their thesis research focusing on their interests. Success can be achieved because of the interactive and supportive social structure of the department.
