Education - Academic Programs
    • Academic Programs
      • Completion of credit
        ① 24 credits or more for Master's degree, 36 credits or more for Doctor’s degree, and 60 credits or more for combined Master’s and doctorate program are required to get a degree.
        ② If the major of the previous degree earned is different, supplementary classes should be taken, taught by a head professor of department. However, there are no credits for supplementary classes.
      • Achievement evaluations and grades
        ① Grades and evaluation of scholastic achievements shall be marked as per the following.
        ② Average grade per subjects required to complete a degree course shall be C- (1.7) or higher and grade point average for the entire term should be B0 (3.0) or higher.
        ③ Subjects resulting in F may be repeated for once.
        ④ A class which has been withdrawn in five weeks after the first date of school is not included in accumulative GPA.
        ⑤ Only grades C- or better will be acknowledged for supplementary subjects and it shall not be incorporated in the grade point average for credits required for completion.
        ⑥ Calculation of grade point average is done by dividing the accumulated value.

      • Eligibility for thesis submission
        Eligibility for a degree thesis submission shall be those who acquired necessary credits for completion of the respective courses within the given schooling period whose grade point average for the entire terms is 3.0 or above, who passed the foreign languages and general tests and received approval by the academic adviser.
