        ① Student who is entrusted by the Ministry of Education in Korea
        ② Student whose parents are both foreigners
        ※ Taiwanese applicants with one parent of Taiwanese nationality are eligible.
        Freshman One who has obtained a bachelor’s degree in Korea or abroad before February 2016 One who has obtained a master’s degree in Korea or abroad before February 2016
        Transfer Semester 2 One who has finished at least 1 semester, and obtained at least 6 credits from the same or similar major master course in or out of Korea One who has finished at least 1 semester, and obtained at least 9 credits from the same or similar major doctorate course in or out of Korea
        Semester 3 One who has finished at least 2 semesters, and obtained at least 12 credits from the same or similar major master course in or out of Korea One who has finished at least 2 semesters, and obtained at least 18 credits from the same or similar major doctorate course in or out of Korea
        • Credit transfer for master’s course cannot be over 12 credits.
        • Credit transfer for doctorate course cannot be over 18 credits.

        • Practical Examinations may be held for arts and physical fitness applicants, and will be included
           in the interview/oral examination scores. Detailed information could be found in web page:

        • Admission Fee: KRW 100,000
        • If you cannot participate in the interview test due to your staying in overseas, ‘Study and Research
           Plan’ should be submitted by handwriting and the interview will be processed by phone call.

        A. All documents in other languages except Korean or English must be submitted with authorized Korean or English translation. Documents and Certificates from school abroad should be submitted with an Apostille affixed. Nationals of countries that have not signed the Apostille treaty must get verification from the local Korean consulate. Please refer to the Matter of Notice when Submitting Documents from schools abroad (http://e.sookmyung.ac.kr/ > Admission > Graduate Admission Guide download) before submitting documents.
        B. Transfer applicants should submit the Master’s (Doctorate’s) official transcript.
        ※ Students who have obtained their bachelor’s and master’s degree in China must submit the ‘Chinese Higher Education Academic History Fact Report’ issued from the Ministry of Education Academic Approval Center (http://www.chsi.com.cn). ※ Applicants who have Korean or English language test scores for one of the following tests should submit their scores. Applicants must meet the following minimum required scores: TOPIK level 3 or higher TOEFL 550, CBT 210, iBT 80, IELTS 5.5, TEPS 550, MATE-Speaking CL/Writing MH (or higher).
        Alternatively, applicants with other internationally authorized English test score may submit those scores. (English test scores are only accepted for students with majors whose classes are all taught in English.)
        Accepted students who have registered and do not have any Korean or English language scores must take a Language Proficiency Exam before the semester starts. If the results are lower than the requirement, a leave of absence should be taken until an acceptable score is obtained.
        Exception:
        1. Korean or other national Government Scholarship students must follow the regulations provided by the appropriate government
        2. Applicants in the arts and physical education: TOPIK level 2, English score-TOEFL 523, CBT 193, iBT 70, MATE-Speaking CE/Writing MM etc. or higher
        3. Applicants who received a BA or MA degree in Korea, or who graduated with a major in Korean language are exempt from testing.
